If you’re unsure, type n64, z64, v64 in that field For the Supported File Types, enter the file extensions of whatever N64 Roms you have.Copy the path to where your Mupen64Plus exe is from the Executable field and paste it in the Working Directory field.In the Executable field, click on the 3 dots button to browse your files for the Mupen64Plus exe.Choose Nintendo 64 in the supported Platform dropdown.You can also put Mupen64Plus in the next field that’s in the Profile section.Give the Emulator a Name such as Mupen64Plus.Next, hover over Libraries and choose Configure Emulators from the options that appear.Click on the upper-left part of the PlayNite window to access the menu (if you’re in Desktop Mode).If you haven’t been able to do that, you’ll probably find my other guide helpful. I was just able to figure out how to do that though, so here are the steps. One issue is that there isn’t a straightforward way of adding Mupen64Plus (the command line version) as an N64 emulator to PlayNite. It definitely has some bugs, but it looks good and is still actively developed. It’s open source and seems to work pretty well. My current favorite unifying frontend (as of 2020) is PlayNite.
