I was just able to figure out how to do that though, so here are the steps. One issue is that there isn’t a straightforward way of adding Mupen64Plus (the command line version) as an N64 emulator to PlayNite. It definitely has some bugs, but it looks good and is still actively developed. It’s open source and seems to work pretty well. My current favorite unifying frontend (as of 2020) is PlayNite.
